2025 Barn Show

Saturday November 18th, starting at 9 am

Everyone! Everyone in our lesson program is invited to compete. There are classes available from leadline through 2'. We will also be hosting riders from The Ranch of Opportunity in Washington Courthouse, Ohio.

Classes are $12 each. Horse rental is $25 for the day, trainer fee is $25 for the day, and there is a $10 administrative fee.  Payment will be accepted via cash or check before the horse show or the day of the horse show. No Venmo, please. There will be a fee of $10 for late payment or bounced checks.

Horse choice will be made day of the event based on a drawing. Your rider will have the chance to ride multiple horses the day of the horse show.

Most riders will show in 6 main classes, with the option to do additional fun classes like Egg and Spoon and a No Stirrups class.

Ribbons will be awarded first through sixth place in each class. We aim to keep the class size between 6-10 students so the students have a good opportunity to earn ribbons. 

The show starts at 9 am, so riders are encouraged to be at the barn at 8:30 am to make sure we start the show on time. Getting there early allows the parents to settle into their seating in the indoor arena.

Your rider has the option to be in show clothes (if they have them) or tan breeches, a belt, hair pulled back in a pony tail or braids, ASTM/SEI helmet fitted correctly, and a polo/collared shirt. If the weather is cold your rider is encouraged to layer another shirt under the polo/collared shirt. Your rider can wear a sweatshirt or coat around the barn, but when it is time to ride, they need to be in the polo/collared shirt so the judge can see the rider's form. 

Please be prepared to bring lawn chairs for seating, layers of clothing for your child so they are comfortable throughout the long day, food, and drinks. Please double check that your child is dressed appropriately to ride. If you would like to bring snacks or desserts to share, you are welcome to! Please put them in the viewing room with any relevant utensils/disposable plates.

Please print the horseshow waiver below, sign it, and bring it to the horseshow administration desk. Please be prepared with cash or a check for payment on November 8th. A $10 fee will be charged for late payment or bounced checks.
